Kinesio Tape

Elastic therapeutic tape, also called Kinesio tape, is an elastic cotton strip with acrylic adhesive that is primarily for soft tissue support. In individuals with chronic musculoskeletal pain, research suggests that elastic taping may help relieve pain and help improve stability. This therapy has become increasing popular to support athletes in injury recovery. Some of our favorite uses for this therapy is in sprain/strain injury as well as to reduce swelling. This can be worn several days away from the office.
